Owner Randy Rodriguez says he’s ‘too lazy to work and too honest to steal’ and that’s why he’s run his antique store for almost three decades now. A treasure trove of ‘Cowboy & Indian Collectables’ where you can sift through heaps of hats, rows of boots, stacks of rugs and bins full of….well….it’s so jam-packed, it’s probably best to let the photo essay do the talking….
Everything in the place has a story to tell…..mainly Randy. I recommend sticking around for a while or you might miss out on a good chat about the history of Santa Fe, the movie companies he’s worked with, and the people who come in every day with fascinating tales of their own to share.
New collectables arrive weekly. Here is the link to his website.

Hands down my best “discovery” on a recent visit to Santa Fe. Why?- Randy is the real deal. Could chat endlessly with him about some of my own favorite subjects like “Lonesome Dove”, “Border Trilogy”, “No Country for Old Men” (here’s to you Cormac-NOT the movie, so it ain’t bad), “Longmire”…and of course Northern New Mexico, the land itself…Like when I went-on Randy’s recommendation- to Pecos National Park, so beautiful…Thanks again Randy and thanks for the copy of “Adobe Joe”!!
John, we also found that talking with Randy was like a terrific history lesson from someone with great stories and suggestions on special sites to discover. The real deal, indeed.
