This is what happens when an artist/graphic designer becomes obsessed with everything chiles and reinvents them into famous artworks and movie posters … you get Chiles Meet The Masters and Chiles Meet The Movies series. This week Mr.D’s chile art pairs well with fava beans and a nice Chianti — Chiles Meet The Movies, Silence of The Chiles!
Monday Chile Art has been running on the SWD Facebook page for almost a year now. Check in every Monday for more here at Southwest Discovered.
If you have suggestions for future Chiles Meet The Movies, leave them in the comments below. We’d love to hear them!

The craft: First I look for a poster where I think a chile would fit the motif, and it amuses me. Using Photoshop CS6 on an iMac, I begin masking over the original poster. If the end result makes Amy laugh, that tells me my chile work is done! –Mr.D
